Meet Allison Manes, Wife of Moonshiners Star Digger
Allison Manes and Moonshiners star Digger have been together for a decade. But while the two are madly in love, they haven’t made their relationship public on social media — except for when Digger wished his wife a happy birthday on FB in 2019.
“Happy birthday to my sweet, loving (and patient) wife,” he began the post before adding how much she means to him.
According to the star, he will continue to spin his wheels without her. Digger also acknowledged his “crazy life and schedule” and thanked her for loving him unconditionally. “As Mark always says, there is no reason for our wives to be angry with us for being ignorant. Thank you for loving me,” he added.
Allison and Digger’s first post on FB was in June 2013. However, the world only found out about them after Digger took to Instagram to share a double date with his co-worker Mark and his wife.
The Moonshiners Digger star is the owner of The Back Alley Grainery, where he sells brewing and winemaking supplies. He has been making moonshine in the Smoky Mountains for over 40 years. In fact, his journey began at age 14, when his family allowed him to learn how to make moonshine from a friend’s father. However, he only came into the spotlight thanks to Discovery’s Moonshiners.
Ironically, the star is an outlaw. He could be caught red-handed if anyone wanted to do something about his activities.

Allison Manes has at least one son with the Moonshiners Digger star. Their younger son is named Beck, and he’s all grown up.

On their anniversary in 2020, Allison shared photos of both her sons and daughter-in-law on her FB, captioning, “My two oldest boys both celebrated their wedding anniversaries today!! One celebrated with his wife all day because it was his day off and hers too! The other worked and then brought pizza for his wife and I!!! I love you all so much! Thank you for giving me, girls!”
Similarly, on International Day of Boys, Allison posed with her sons and captioned the photo on her Fb, “I almost missed boys day! I am a mother of boys! I couldn’t be more proud of the men these three have become (one is still young) love them so much!”

She opened a fashion boutique (with her husband) in her hometown of Newport, Tennessee to help revitalize Newport before expanding to other areas in Tennessee.
Explaining the name of her company, Allison said, “The idea of Fruit Jar Alley is to turn something bad into something great.” Apparently, Fruit Jar Alley was a notorious alley from her youth that was home to several bars that were no longer empty.
Surprisingly, while many businesses have been shuttered, hers has thrived throughout the pandemic. They’ve seen an increase of about 30%. How? Well, the store offers a wide variety of products both online and at retail locations in Knoxville, Pigeon Forge, and Newport. The store is marketed as a fashion boutique, but its merchandise ranges far beyond a traditional fashion store. “We sell everything in this store, from soap to dish towels to clothing,” Allison added.
Another reason they are so popular is because of their affordability. Despite the quality of the accessories and clothing, the prices seem reasonable.
In addition to clothing, Fruit Jar Alley also puts its name on coffee, water, and candles, cementing its position as a merchant that offers a wide variety of products.
According to reports, Fruit Jar Alley was founded in November 2017.
