Storm Reid was a loving father to Rodney Reid. Although he wasn’t always there for Storm, she says he taught her important life lessons.

On Father’s Day 2017, she posted a picture of him on her FB with the caption: “Happy Father’s Day! Love you to the moon and back. Thank you for always supporting me even from the other side of the world. Thank you for teaching me important lessons in life. Thank you for loving me.”

Additionally, later in the post, the actress also thanked her father for allowing her to call him “to talk about the latest underground rappers.” Guess what, the father and daughter duo both love rap music.

But Storm’s dad isn’t the only person she calls to talk about music and life. The actress is also very close to her mother, Robyn Simpson. In fact, her mom is so supportive that she told her she could quit acting at any time. “My mom always said, ‘If I don’t want to do it, [acting] I could quit, but I don’t want to. I feel like that’s everyone’s perspective,” Storm explained before adding, “As long as I’m happy, that’s all that matters to them.”

Storm (born July 1, 2003) is the youngest. Her older brother Josh entered the world on April 11, 2001.
