Will Taylor Swift appear at Cannes Lions to support Travis Kelce?

Although Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce came from two separate fields before coming together for their grand romance, they are now expected to appear together at specific events where their careers they intersect – especially in the field of advertising.

The NFL star is expected to be one of the guests at Cannes Lions Festival 2024, where the world’s most prestigious advertising awards take place.

Stagwell CEO Mark Penn spoke to Page Six about Swift and Kelce’s possible attendance.

Answering the question of who was the most interesting person in the advertising mecca that he most enjoyed listening to, Kelce’s name appeared alongside other sports giants such as Carmelo Anthony and Sue Bird.

“We have Travis Kelce here [Thursday] and it will sell out. People can speculate whether he brought someone or not,” Penn teased.

When asked if Penn thought Kelce would bring Swift along, he replied, “I doubt it, but any speculation is good in marketing.”

Notably, Taylor Swift is currently enjoying a short vacation, starting Thursday, June 20, 2024. However, her schedule will soon be cleared as she prepares to take the stage in three consecutive dates at London’s Wembley Stadium from June 21 to 23, 2024. Ahead of her upcoming London performance, Swift recently stunned audiences with her final performance at the Public Stadium of Cardiff on June 18, 2024, followed by three memorable nights at Anfield in Liverpool.

While the possibility of Swift attending Cannes Lions remains vague, it’s important to note that Swift has flown from continent to continent just to attend some of Kelce’s events.

In February 2024, Swift flew from Japan to Las Vegas to watch her boyfriend win his third NFL championship. Although things have changed since then, Swift was still able to come in at the last minute because the flight from London to France would only take her about 2 hours.

Swift’s advertising power is perhaps one of the strongest in the market today, as every time her name is attached to something, it becomes marketable.

Swift has collaborated with many different brands in the past. Some come from Apple Music, Capital One, Target, Diet Coke, DirectTV, AT&T, Macy’s, Keds, etc!
