Zizi Kodwa (born 19 January 1970) is a prominent South African politician.
He is currently the Deputy Minister of State Security of the Republic of South Africa.
Despite his humble origins, he is now one of the executive directors of the African National Congress (ANC).

Zizi Kodwa was a member of the Student Representative Council and several other militant groups. He attended the South African Students’ Congress. The congress was eventually banned, but its revival saw it renamed the Township Students’ Congress.
Zizi Kodwa was the President of the Students’ Representative Council (SRC) at the University. He was also a member of the South African Students’ Congress. He also held various positions at the Western Cape branch of the ANC Youth League during his time there.
After being elected to this position, he eventually rose to the national executive committee of the organization. He remained a member until the African National Congress (ANC) Youth League congress in Mangaung. He was then appointed by President Cyril Ramaphosa as Deputy Minister of State Security of the Republic of South Africa.

Zizi Kodwa is married to former model Zaza Ngubane.
In 2011, the couple got married and confirmed their relationship with a wedding. The Botanical Gardens in Durban, South Africa was the venue for the ceremony.
More than 500 political figures attended the event, including several prominent politicians. Jacob Zuma, former President of South Africa, was also present to witness their wedding vows.
His position has seen him embroiled in numerous controversies and corruption-related issues since taking office on May 30, 2019.
