In a recent development, Diddy’s legal team once again sought bail, after previous unsuccessful attempts, by referring to similar cases in which defendants were released.
The legal team representing the 55-year-old hip-hop artist has filed a new motion in an ongoing effort to secure his release from custody while awaiting trial scheduled for 2025 .
According to a report obtained by TMZ, legal papers reveal that Diddy’s legal team is proposing a generous bail agreement that includes a $50 million bail and around-the-clock monitoring to prevent Block any escape attempts or witness tampering.
His legal team has tried similar strategies many times but they remain optimistic about the current situation.
They point to previous cases where defendants facing similar charges were released on pre-trial bail as precedent for their argument, such as a CEO facing trafficking charges sexually assaulted many young men, accompanied by an associate who threatened the witness.
To defend Diddy, his legal team said the government initially requested a $10 million bond and a $500,000 surety bond, significantly lower than the $50 million bail package they currently have. Recommended for this situation.

More than 120 individuals have come forward as potential victims, but Diddy maintains his innocence and is pushing for an expedited trial, aiming for a trial date as soon as spring arrives.
