People have obtained legal documents showing that Jane Doe sued American DJ and film producer Diplo for revenge porn.

Formally known as Thomas Wesley Pentz, the popular DJ is accused of having an “intimate” relationship with a woman from 2016 to 2023. In the filing, Doe claims that Pentz sent explicit photos and videos of her to others.

Doe further claims that between 2018 and 2023, Pentz filmed their sexual encounters multiple times without her consent and “disclosed and/or distributed these images and videos to third parties.” three through text messages and Snapchat”.
Records show that Doe and Diplo began chatting on Snapchat in April 2016, when she was still 21. They then exchanged “sexually explicit” images for three months between April and June 2016 before meeting in person at a New York hotel in June 2016.

Doe alleges that they had an “intimate” relationship with sexual encounters from June 2016 to October 2023. At that time, Doe informed Pentz that she “did not want Defendant Diplo recorded them engaging in sexual activities without her explicit consent and did not want him to distribute the images and/or videos to third parties and never gave his consent do like that”.

Although, at one point, she allowed Pentz to film their sexual encounters, she was not allowed to distribute it.
In November 2023, Doe claims in the filing that she was first contacted by another person and discovered that they possessed videos and photos of her having sex with Pentz. She also discovered that a third party had obtained the documents in October 2018.
“Diplo’s actions represent a serious abuse of power and a blatant disregard for human dignity. It is imperative that we, as a society, condemn such actions and hold the perpetrators to account.” must be held accountable,” Jane Doe’s legal camp said in a statement. “Our brave client’s story is one of Diplo’s best-kept secrets, and bringing this case is her first step on the road to civil justice.”
Meanwhile, the New York Police Department issued a statement confirming a criminal complaint in Pentz’s file that NYPD detectives are investigating.
As of this writing, Pentz has yet to respond or comment on the lawsuit.
