Fans criticize Drake’s wax figure failure at Madame Tussauds and claim Kendrick Lamar vandalized it

Madame Tussauds New York’s newest wax figure is Drake, who is now permanently enshrined in Times Square for all to see.

According to Billboard, the new wax figure was unveiled at the New York location as part of a significant investment.

Along with iconic stars like Beyoncé, the Canadian rapper’s presence on the “concert floor” contributed to the festive atmosphere in New Year’s Eve style.

Drake sports braided waxed hair paired with pure white Air Force 1s, paired with jeans, a cozy sherpa jacket and a casual t-shirt.

Critics have expressed their disapproval and Drake’s wax figure has been outright ridiculed.

Many individuals have joked that Kendrick Lamar, who is in a public dispute with the OVO star, may have staged the wax figure because of its supposedly flawed appearance.

@mekastl said on X, formerly Twitter, “They captured the pure cheesiness of this character,” while @lwatson041 said, “They also captured all the appeal, and look exactly like his melting old face. His other side is really bad, and he’s not even 40 yet.”

Another, @Mahogany_Mama, jokingly asked: “Who is Shemar Moore?” referring to the famous actor from the series Criminal Minds.

@andrewscomet commented, “he looks like a GTA character”, while another, @cardistics, said, “Kendrick Lamar is behind this”, about the constant discord between them.

However, @Bennie_oyale suggested, “Madame Tussauds should focus on making their current statues more lifelike instead of adding another celebrity. This new Drake wax figure is just another example of quantity over quality.”

Drake’s wax figure was unveiled amid his ongoing feud with Lamar.

In response, the West Coast artist has released a series of diss tracks aimed at his musical rival. One of Lamar’s most notable diss tracks, “Not Like Us,” was released in May as a direct jab at Drake.

The Pulitzer Prize winner infused this song with a lively Southern drawl, “Pssst! I see dead people / .. / Hey Drake, I heard you liked them when you were young / .. / You better not go to Lockup Number One / Sometimes you gotta show up and show the Certified Boogeyman that I’m the one who can score with him,”

Lamar and Drake were seen getting along well in 2012, and Lamar joined Drake’s Club Paradise Tour as the opening act. However, 12 years later, their relationship took a different turn.
