Google Gifts NU Foundation $250K to Advance AI Research

The University of Nebraska Foundation will receive a $250,000 grant from Google to support research and education, announced at the Nebraska Innovation Campus. Google also revealed a $930 million investment in infrastructure to enhance its data centers in Nebraska. University President Jeffrey P. Gold emphasized the expansion of the school’s programs, including a new undergraduate degree program in creative AI and the creation of a task force to promote cross-industry collaboration.
