Jazmin Blais is the wife of famous chef Richard Blais. The happy couple exchanged wedding vows on April 8, 2006. According to Richard’s IG post on their wedding anniversary in 2022, he proposed to his wife in 2005 after running 10km at The Peachtree Road Race.

Jazmin and Richard met while she was in graduate school. She applied for a job as a bartender at a restaurant where Richard was working as a chef at the time.

Jazmin told Married to a chef blog, “Being a part of it, I understand the time and commitment it takes to be successful. I don’t look too far into the future, I don’t think about children, marriage etc. I think if anything, I might be a little scared of the depth and breadth of obligations that the hospitality industry demands! Richard and I always talk about how difficult it is to work in this industry and have a family. It’s a delicate balance.”

But according to Jazmin, balancing work life and relationship life is a challenge for the couple. She believes that a relationship is a garden that needs to be tended. She told the blog: “We are constantly finding success, new ways to work together, communicate and grow together. In 2015, on their 9th wedding anniversary, Richard wished his wife: “Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would give @Blaisphemy a happy anniversary 9 years of marriage and screaming on Twitter….” Likewise, on Valentine’s Day 2022, Richard wished his wife: “I always feel like we’re the Avengers on top of the mountain @jazminblais Happy Valentine’s Day!”
