Jelly Roll Says Prison Is Easier Than Stardom – Here’s Why

Jelly Roll’s life has changed a lot. From a criminal as a teenager to adulthood, he became one of the most sought-after musicians in the country’s music scene. More recently, he revealed in an interview that he found it easier to struggle with his life as a convicted criminal compared to being famous now.

The male singer appeared in an episode The Howard Stern Show where he revealed that since he’s someone facing a long prison sentence, for him, “jail or jail or penitentiary or whatever becomes more of a home than your home.” .”

In the same episode, he gave fans more insight into his dark past when he admitted he was the “worst criminal ever” having been arrested 47 times.

“It’s bad… I’m the worst criminal ever,” he told the host.

Then he remembered a story from when he was 15 years old: He thought he was running away from the police, who were determined to catch him.

Because he was under the influence of Xanax, which made him “a little slow,” he thought he was running away when the police pulled him over.

In his mind, he thought he jumped out, ran across the field and reached safety, but in reality he only took two steps and the police stood by and watched him fall. The musician recalled that the police officer felt bad and did not charge him for trying to flee.
