LONDON: Jemima Goldsmith, ex-wife of former prime minister and cricketer Imran Khan, has been hospitalized after falling during a mountain climbing trip in South Africa.
The film producer slipped while descending the top of Lion’s Head in Cape Town.
She shared photos online, showing her sitting in a wheelchair with her right foot and ankle wearing a protective boot.
Jemima was in South Africa to celebrate the new year.
On Instagram, she captioned her post, “Festival break (pun intended) in Cape Town,” referencing the stunning mountaintop views before she took a tumble and spent a long time limping dark.
Jemima, daughter of financier Sir James Goldsmith, also shared photos from the hospital, posing with crutches.
She lives at the £15million Kiddington Hall estate in Oxfordshire, surrounded by gardens designed by Capability Brown.
Jemima, who converted to Islam before marrying Imran Khan, has also spoken out in support of Palestine amid the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict.
Previously, she was romantically linked to Hugh Grant and Russell Brand and is also the founder of Instinct Productions.
