As for why they decided to split, Destiny believes it was because she may have lost her ex-husband’s masculinity. She said, “I told him in the hospital that if we keep going like this, we’re not going to make it. He thought that was a threat. And I wasn’t threatening to divorce him. I was saying we can’t keep going like this, we’re not going to make it. And so I think he was trying to break me.”

But that being said, Destiny was actually the one who asked for a “break up” in the first place. So even if they disagreed, they could still jump in the car and leave.

Looking back, Destiny first met La’Berrick on December 15, 2013, at a mutual friend’s Christmas Party in Huntsville, Alabama and it was love at first sight!
