Former MTV star Connor Smith alleges
There is an arrest warrant issued for MTV star Connor Smith for allegedly attempting to engage in sexual conduct with a girl under 15 years of age.
According to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, Connor had been interacting with an undercover officer posing as a minor online for “several weeks.” After sending sexually explicit videos and images of himself, he drove to meet the minor on February 9, 2023 with the intention of engaging in sexual conduct.
He was arrested by detectives at a predetermined location. However, before he could be arrested, the star fled in his car.
As a result, Connor now faces three felony charges – meeting a minor, grooming and disseminating harmful material.
By February 17, Connor had still not surrendered. But a judge signed off on a $1 million bail after his arrest.
This news also comes 14 months after the former MTV star was arrested for allegedly beating and raping a 16-year-old girl. Back in December 2021, Connor was charged with one count of rape and sexual battery as well as two counts of criminal confinement in Cook County, Illinois.
The unidentified girl said she was kidnapped from her room in July after visiting family members in Indiana. It is known that she exchanged Snapchat details with a cat seller and gave them the address of where she was staying.
That night, Connor “opened her bedroom window, pulled her out of the room, threw her into his truck and drove to a motel while sexually assaulting her.”
However, she changed her story later to confess that she met the alleged attacker on a dating app and voluntarily snuck out to meet him. However, while in the man’s truck, she was forced to perform oral sex on him while he drove them to the motel. She accused him of “slapping and choking her multiple times, urinating on her in the motel room and forcing him to have oral sex again.”
The accuser also added that the man dropped her home and said he would come back the next day. But her family members waited on the front lawn and chased him away when he reappeared.
