Early life and education
Randy Orton is the son of professional wrestler Bob Orton Jr. and nurse Elaine Orton. He was born in Knoxville, Tennessee, United States, on April 1, 1980.
He is the nephew of Barry Orton and the grandson of professional wrestler Bob Orton Jr. He has a younger sister named Becky Orton and an older brother named Nathan Orton, who is a stand-up comedian. One of his older brothers is named Roderick Orton.
His father warned him that life in the ring meant life on the road and away from his family. Knowing the hardships of life as a professional wrestler, his parents tried to convince him to stay away from the profession. Randy Orton was an amateur wrestler when he was a student at Hazelwood Central High School.

Randy Orton joined the Marine Corps in 1998 after graduating from high school. He was discharged for poor conduct at base in 1999 for defying orders from superior officers and deserting twice. He was prosecuted and convicted by a special court-martial under the Uniform Code of Military Justice, and subsequently spent 38 days in prison at Camp Pendleton.
He used to have a tattoo of a Marine on his left arm, but he covered it up after being fired for bad behavior. He made his professional wrestling debut in 2000. In 2001, Randy Orton signed with the World Wrestling Federation (WWF). He has wrestled with famous performers such as John Cena and Rico Constantino.
During this time, Randy Orton, who competed primarily in tag team matches, won the OVW Hardcore Championship twice. The RKO, a jump cut bearing his initials and later becoming his trademark finishing move, was the first technique that brought him recognition. In July 2004, he won the World Heavyweight Championship for the first time after defeating Chris Benoit.
He was then defeated by Triple H after successfully defending the title several times. Samantha Speno and Randy Orton married on September 21, 2007. The couple’s daughter was born. They divorced in June 2013 after separating in late 2012. He married Kimberly Kessler, a former fan club member, on November 14, 2015. Their daughter is Randy Orton’s second child. They are residents of St. Charles, Missouri.
