Sabrina Carpenter Is ‘Just Starting Out’ With Her Career, Won’t Let Any Negativity Get Her Down — Report

Over the past year, Sabrina Carter has achieved great success, especially after releasing two songs “Espresso” and “Please Please Please”.

Although the singer has been in the industry for a long time, many sources say she is just starting out.

The 25-year-old pop star recently walked in Vogue World: Paris catwalk last month, where she wore a red and white swimsuit, and an insider told Radar Online that it was just part of “the best year of her life” not only professionally but also mentally.

“She’s fallen in love, toured with Taylor Swift, performed at Coachella and released back-to-back hits — and Sabrina feels like she’s just getting started,” the source added.

Unfortunately, her fame has come with its share of negativity, as she has faced criticism, heartbreak and fights with other celebrities. Insiders say she “went through a lot when she was young.”

One of the problems she faced was the alleged discord between her and High School Musical: The Musical: The Movie co-stars Olivia Rodrigo and Joshua Bassett.

Many have assumed that the lyrics to Rodrigo’s song “Drivers License”, in which she describes a “much older blonde girl”, are about Carpenter.

Another criticism she received this year was when she appeared in Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS campaign despite being good friends with Taylor Swift. However, she has since spoken out about the issue, saying she spoke to the pop star before agreeing to the collaboration.

“I have been very, very communicative with [Taylor] about that situation… I love her so much and support her to the end,” she shared in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine.

After a series of controversies, the musician seems to be doing better in terms of career and love life as she is dating actor Barry Keoghan.

The source added that Carpenter is “living the life she’s always dreamed of” and won’t let negativity take over because she’s “learned to deal with all the noise and not let it get her down.”

Sabrina Carpenter’s career began in 2011 when she became an actress in the series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. She then became a Disney star by appearing in several projects, such as Girl Meets World.

She then began her music career by signing with Disney’s former record label Hollywood Records.
