The widow appeared in one episode Desire distorts podcast where she gave insight into the late musician’s death, saying that when he died, the public believed it was tragic because he had “overdosed”, as she did not think the singer died that way.

“I really want to be clear, it wasn’t an overdose – it wasn’t that. He didn’t use heroin. He didn’t overdose on drugs. His heart stopped beating because his heart had been abused used too much because she had used drugs earlier in her life and smoked and drank a lot,” she clarified.

According to Rolling Stone, the musician was found dead in the bedroom of his tour bus in 2015.
