Taylor Swift has been embroiled in a royal row after meeting Prince William, an event that is believed to have caused a further rift between the future king and his brother, Prince Harry.

Radar Online sources reveal that Swift is on the radar of the British Royal Family.

“It’s not just Charlotte and George who love her. Everyone is crazy about her and how talented and charming she is,” the source revealed. “Rumor has it she’ll be at the top of their list for any upcoming celebrity soirees or events.”
The same sources also revealed that Harry and his wife, actress Meghan Markle, were “frustrated” by Swift’s meeting with the Prince of Wales and his children. The couple’s frustration is said to have been due to Meghan not being invited backstage when she attended Swift’s Eras Tour in California in 2023.
Before not inviting the Duchess of Sussex backstage, the outlet also reported that Swift had turned down an invitation to be a guest on her podcast, Prototype, in the past.

“It’s no secret that Meghan has tried her best to build a relationship with Taylor but it’s not going anywhere, so it’s hard for her and Harry not to see this as a calculated way for William and the royal family to further undermine them,” the insider revealed. “From their perspective, it’s clear that the royal family – and William in particular – like to chase whatever they can get.”

The paper also reported that both Harry and Meghan are big fans of Swift’s music, but Swift’s recent encounter with William may have put a strain on things.
“Meghan and Harry love Taylor’s music. They’ve made it very clear that they want to have some kind of relationship with her,” they added. “But now that William has another highly public relationship with Taylor, any moves they make will surely be seen as cheap copycat attempts.”
According to sources, a backstage selfie with Swift, which included her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, angered the already tense couple.

“It was the selfie that made them angry because it’s so unusual for the royals to do something like that publicly. Even William’s fans saw it as a mockery of the Sussexes,” the source confirmed, noting that it wasn’t William’s idea to bring Prince George and Princess Charlotte to the concert they were upset about. “Once again, they felt like outsiders – and that was heartbreaking.”
