1. A small trip:

A little trip

A trip with loved ones is always a fun time, and what better way to celebrate Father’s Day with the family? I’m sure all fathers around the world are tired of driving around with their children. This time take the wheel yourself and drive to your dad’s favorite places with him in the passenger seat. Bonus points if you put his favorite snack on the seat before he gets in the car! I’m sure he will have the time of his life.

2. Bake together:

Baking not only helps you have a fun time with your dad, but in the end, you will have yourself a delicious dish to enjoy with him. Special occasions call for something sweet to celebrate. Bake some delicious treats, like muffins, waffles, brownies or anything else. Spending time together while baking will create a special bond between you and your dad and he will always associate the act of baking with you.

3. Organize family training:

If your father is health-conscious, this will definitely amaze him. Plan a workout for the whole family together. Not only is this fun, but it also shows your dad that you pay attention to his likes and dislikes. You can book Zumba or yoga instructors online who can come to your home and help you and your loved ones workout.

4. Karaoke night:

Whether with family or friends, singing karaoke is always a fun time. Buy some snacks from the store and download all of your dad’s favorite songs. Nothing can make him happier than listening to his favorite tunes. Organizing a karaoke night is easy because you only need a TV or speakers to play the music. Having a microphone is not important, what is important is that you have a good time with your family.

5. Make him brunch:

If your dad is a foodie then you need to try this activity. Make him a beautiful collection of all his favorite foods for brunch. Don’t worry about leftovers because he’ll eat them for dinner too! It is often said that the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach!

6. Plan a game night:

I’m sure you haven’t played a board game in a long time. I recommend going to the back of your storage room and finding all your old, dusty board games for a special night in on Father’s Day. It will be very competitive and exciting when you and your loved ones play games like Monopoly, Ludo, Snakes and Ladders etc. I am sure your dad will feel a nostalgic happiness while playing these games that he used to play as a child, but this time with his children.

7. Arts and Crafts:

You can never go wrong with some arts and crafts to make a special day memorable. Buy some canvases, paints and paintbrushes from the nearby store and that’s all you need for this activity. You and your loved ones can both try to draw the same pictures from memory and see who can draw the best. You can also try a game where one of you draws on a canvas for five minutes and then passes it on to the next person to add to the existing painting. Keep scrolling through the canvas every five minutes and see what you get.

8. Picnic:

A picnic is a simple but sweet way to celebrate the special occasion of Father’s Day with your family. Get some snacks like sandwiches, chips, chocolates and a small cake to celebrate. Take your basket to a nearby park and put it all down. If you don’t have a park near you, don’t worry. Just follow the same steps but do them in your backyard instead. It’s less about the action and more about the effort you put in.

9. Movie night:

We all have a favorite movie and so do our dads. What better way to honor him than to create a home theater that shows his favorite movies on screen? Make him some buttered popcorn with a can of Coke and I’m sure he’ll have the time of his life. If you have a projector, make sure to use it so the movie can be shown on a larger theater-like screen.

10. Camping:

This is for all the adventurous dads out there. Bring out your tent because it’s time to go camping. It’s a warm and fun activity that your dad will always cherish. Imagine roasting marshmallows while listening to your dad’s horror stories – it doesn’t get better than this! If there isn’t a campsite near you, then just pitch your tent in the backyard and you’re good to go.

11. Wash his car:

This is the simplest yet most thoughtful thing you can do for your father. We should do this regardless of Father’s Day. Imagine him waking up to a completely clean and shiny car – it will definitely make his day. Help always goes a long way, especially when it is helping our parents because they devoted their lives to us. The simple act of washing his car is something he will remember forever.

I hope that with this list, you’ll know what to do this coming Father’s Day. It doesn’t matter what you do, what matters is making your dad happy and creating memories that you will always look back on.
