Walt Disco is a six-piece British band formed five years ago by James, Dave, Finlay, Mashu, Lewis and Calcum.

They met at Glasgow University. Surprisingly, the three of them were from the same hometown, Perth. They met at a freshers’ party and became good friends there.

They found that they had a talent for music and decided to form a band. In September 2016, they officially established the music group. One of the things that attracted them to each other was that they both loved Scottish punk music from the 80s.

James Porter is the band’s lead singer, while Lewis Carmichael and Dave Morgan are guitarists. Kalkum Kennedy plays drums. As lead vocalist, James is assisted by Mathew Harada, who has a unique and exciting voice and can play multiple instruments.
