Michele Jones was one of the Davidians who died during the 1993 Waco siege. Although illegitimate, she was the wife of David Thibodeau, the WACO Survivor who gave birth to Koresh’s children.

Michele Jones is the spirit wife of WACO Survivor David Thibodeau. She married him after Koresh asked them to get married in the camp.

According to David, he met Koresh through the same musical interests in 1991. At that time, he had just graduated from the Los Angeles Musicians Institute of Technology with a major in drumming. Then one day Koresh invited him to stay in the camp with the community and marry Michele, and he agreed.

So, after the siege, David began to recount his experiences both in the camp and at the time of the siege. He even wrote two books titled “Waco: A Survivor’s Story” and “A Place Called Waco,” which later made him a consultant for the series Waco: American Apocalypse .

“I always knew that there was some kind of invisible force that seemed to guide me through life,” David says in the documentary. Not surprisingly, he was intrigued when the cult leader told him, “You don’t even realize that every day there are forces plotting your path and where you’re going.” .”

But initially David was not interested in the whole development of the new religious movement. He did not believe their leader was the Messiah. It was only because of warm, friendly people like Steve that he joined their Christian band.

However, he remained at the Waco, Texas complex until the very end! He fled only after a major fire broke out on April 19, 1993 (the 51st day of the fierce confrontation).

Today, David strongly expressed his views on this siege. He also runs a website called Waco Survivors, in which he hosts media posts related to the standoff while also offering his open opinions to paint a clearer picture of the whole thing.

Michele Jones was asked to spiritually marry Koresh and bear his three children as part of a divine prophecy. Her children Serenity Sea, Chica and Little One – all died in the fire with her.

After her death, her husband David lived a single life.

Michele Jones was born on July 4, 1974. This made her just 19 years old at the time of her death in April 1993.

Who are Michele Jones’ parents?

Michele Jones was born to her parents, Perry Dale Jones and Mary Belle Rogers Jones.

Her father Perry was shot and later died on February 28, 1993. He was 64 years old at the time.

As for her mother, Mary survived the siege of Waco. She then breathed her last at the age of 82 on June 21, 2014 in Waco, McLennan County, Texas, United States.

According to reports, Mary was helping care for several elderly women in a mobile home away from Mount Carmel during the time her husband passed away.

Her husband, David Michael Jones, also died in the fire in 1993. He was 38 years old at the time.

On the other hand, her brother, Stephen Paul Jones survived and only passed away in January 2010, at the age of 53.

As for her sister, Rachel Olivia Susan Koresh, you probably know all about her because she appeared on Waco: American Apocalypse.

For those who don’t know, Rachel was one of those who died in the fire that surrounded Waco. She was the only legal wife of leader David Koresh and was only 23 years old when the siege occurred.

The show mentions that Rachel married Koresh at the age of 14. She then gave birth to two children named Star and Cyrus. It was clear that she did not agree with her husband sleeping with other women in the compound. But because Koresh taught his parishioners that it was his destiny to father 24 children who would eventually become rulers of the world after the apocalypse, Rachel made peace with herself.

Another reason why Rachel is calm about what is happening is because she was born into the church and that is all she has ever known.

Sadly, like Michele, her sister and both children were killed in the fire and are buried in Restland Cemetery, McLennan County.
