Woman Suing 50 Cent Over Mic Throwing Requests Deposit Date For Rapper

The woman who sued 50 Cent for assault, Bryhana Monegain, asked the court to force him to appear in court to testify in the case.

In Touch Weekly obtained legal documents stating that 50 Cent has not yet given a date for her availability to testify despite her numerous requests. Monegain set a tentative date for the rapper of June 13, 2024, but the deposition did not happen.

“Due to the August 5, 2024 conciliation deadline, the Order [50] must sit for a deposition and provide testimony immediately,” the document said.

In September 2023, 50 Cent accidentally hit himself with Monegain’s microphone when he realized it wasn’t working.

Although 50 Cent had no intention of hurting anyone, he accidentally hit the homeowner. Meanwhile, 50 Cent’s lawyer still affirms his client’s innocence.

However, in the images obtained on The Neighborhood Talk, serious injuries on Monegain’s body on both her forehead and just above her right eyebrow are very clear, causing her to be hospitalized.

In January 2024, Monegain sued 50 Cent for battery failure and negligence. Monegain said “she suffered a concussion and a laceration to her forehead, pain in her left wrist and complained of” dizziness, headaches, sensitivity to light and sound and nausea.

“Regardless of the attacker, this alleged act of negligence and violence is unacceptable and we will hold 50 Cent and his co-defendants accountable for their actions.” their obligations,” Monegain’s legal camp told Entertainment Weekly. “Mr. Jackson himself has previously said ‘if the conversation isn’t about money, man, I don’t care,’ so we are confident that our customers will be compensated fairly and adequate for the injuries she suffered.”

Monegain is reportedly suing for all special damages incurred, including hospital, medical and attorney fees.

As of the time of this writing, the presiding judge has not yet ruled on Monegain’s appeal to depose 50 Cent.

Since then, 50 Cent has only addressed the incident indirectly on Instagram.

“Damn, the only thing left is Taylor swift’s performance. I fired everyone involved in the sound department, if the mic doesn’t work then your ass doesn’t work here. # bransoncognac #lecheminduroi,” he said at the time and included a screenshot of Lil Wayne experiencing similar technical difficulties at a Beyonce concert.
