Ariana Grande explains why she ate with Jeffrey Dahmer when she was young

Ariana Grande has opened up about Jeffrey Dahmer’s previous comments she made to a young fan.

During a recent episode of “Popcrushed,” Grande got candid about the time she told fans that her dream dinner date would be with a serial killer.

“I was fascinated with serial killers when I was young,” she told Penn Badgley, Nava Kavelin and Sophie Ansari in the podcast.

The “7 Rings” singer, now 30 years old, revealed that this revelation happened during a Q&A session with young fans many years ago.

“It’s between me being Cat [in Nickelodeon’s Sam & Cat] and pop music, so it was more like a younger group, and they were with their parents, and someone spoke. ‘If you could have dinner with anyone alive or dead, who would it be?'” she revealed, adding, “I said, ‘Oh, you’re so cute. Mom and dad, I pay.’ Is the truth okay?’ And they said ‘Sure, what’s the answer?’ and I thought, ‘I mean, Jeffrey Dahmer is pretty hot.’

According to Grande, she would love to meet Dahmer with someone involved because she has many questions.

Dahmer’s story was presented in Monsters: The Story of Jeffrey Dahmer. The infamous serial killer committed his first murder in 1978 a few weeks after graduating from high school. The killings continued in the following years, with the number of murdered boys reaching 17 by 1991.

Dahmer was only captured after Tracy Edwards escaped by punching the murderer. He encountered two Milwaukee police officers, who led them back to the apartment.

Authorities found Polaroid photographs of human bodies showing the stages of dismemberment in a drawer of Dahmer’s. The suspect tried to flee but was eventually captured later.

Dahmer later wrote a detailed confession about how he killed 17 men. He was charged with four counts of attempted first-degree murder in July 1991 before facing eight more counts of murder and three more in August of the same year.

He initially pleaded “not guilty and innocent by reason of insanity” before changing it to “guilty but insane”. After the trial, he was ruled sane and not suffering from a mental disorder.

Dahmer died after a fellow prisoner beat him to death with a metal bar on November 28, 1994.

Grande previously worked with Evan Peters, who plays the killer in the hair-raising Netflix series, on her music video for “we can’t be friends”.
