Celine Dion Shares ‘Dangerous Road’ of Trying ‘Crazy’ Things to Control Spam Before Diagnosing Rigid Person Syndrome

Celine Dion has courageously shared her battle with several health issues, revealing her dependence on countless dangerous drugs.

The award-winning singer has highlighted her excessive drug habits, highlighting her challenges before she was officially diagnosed with Rigid Person Syndrome.

In a recent interview with Hoda Kotb, according to Us Weekly, Dion confessed to having faced challenges with her performances due to spasms that have hindered her ability to hit the high notes she is famous for. .

Despite seeking advice from many medical experts, the 56-year-old singer was still unable to find a definitive solution to her then-undiagnosed health problems.

During her journey to find a diagnosis, Dion was advised to take strong medications in large quantities.

The “My Heart Will Go On” singer explained: “I don’t want you guys to think I’m crazy – well, they’re crazy, not crazy enough to commit suicide but crazy things to keep going. Let’s put it this way. Please.” We tried a lot of things.”

However, Dion knew it was a dangerous path.

“Trying things when you don’t know what you have can kill you,” she said.

Following his doctor’s recommendation, Dion began using Valium as a method to help soothe his body and prevent muscle spasms.

For example, she will consume 20 milligrams of Valium before going on stage to help her relax. At that time, Dion recalled going from the dressing room to the backstage area and noticing a significant change. The effects of the drug quickly wore off, suggesting her body had built up a tolerance to it over time. Therefore, her doctor gradually increased the dosage, reaching a maximum of 90 milligrams.

“Ninety milligrams of valium a day can kill you,” Dion reveals. “I need that. It helps my whole body relax. But for what? For two weeks? A month? … But then you get used to it. It doesn’t work anymore. More, more furthermore.”

During the chaos of 2020, as the pandemic spread across the globe, Dion decided to temporarily step back from the spotlight and turn her attention to prioritizing her health.

“It was an opportunity for me to not be brave,” she admitted.

Unfortunately, as her illness progressed, her health deteriorated. Dion revealed how difficult it was for her to move during this period.

Only after a long wait did she receive a diagnosis: Rigid Person Syndrome (SPS).

Although she was finally relieved to finally have the all clear, she still feared it could mark the end of her music career.
