Chappell Roan was emotional on stage, saying she was having trouble pursuing her career

The singer took the stage of the Red Hat Amphitheater in North Carolina, where she performed her unreleased song “The Subway,” which she previously performed at the Governor’s Ball in New York City.

Chappell Roan shed tears on stage at Raleigh concert:

“I just want to be honest with the crowd. Today I feel a bit upset because I think my career is progressing so fast and it’s hard to keep up. I’m just being honest, I’m having a hard time today.”

“I’m trying to get through it as best I can, and I’m grateful that I have the means to get treatment and take time off from time to time,” she said.

In other Chappell Roan updates, the rising musician will perform at Bonnaroo Music Festival this weekend.

The singer will also appear at several festivals over the next few months, including Lollapalooza, Capitol Hill Block Party, Osheaga Music and Arts Festival, etc.
