Jennifer Lopez’s ‘rude habits’ causing marital strife with Ben Affleck? Previous interview highlights major issue

Jennifer Lopez appears to have admitted she has personal issues that could affect her marriage to Ben Affleck.

After reuniting in 2021 and marrying in 2022, things quickly hit rock bottom between Lopez and Affleck. Reports have suggested potential reasons behind the couple’s marital struggles, but a new interview may be the real reason their relationship deteriorated.

Amid the marriage’s reported fallout, an old 2005 interview Lopez gave to Cosmopolitan magazine — in which she admitted to having rude habits — began to resurface.

“My worst habit is when people are talking, I’m already thinking about three other things. It’s rude. Sometimes, if the other person is really into it and they notice, they’ll ask, ‘Where are you?'” the “On the Floor” singer shared.

Lopez has also been ridiculed online for her behavior and poor treatment of others.

In 2021, she was heavily criticized after a challenge to sing out of tune to celebrate the 20th anniversary of her single “Love Don’t Cost a Thing”.

Lopez’s 2016 interview with The Hollywood Reporter also resurfaced in June. The conversation captured the “Let’s Get Loud” hitmaker’s reaction to her diva label, saying that women always get it when they “achieve a certain level of success.”

“I’ve always been fascinated by how much better we have to behave than men,” she told the outlet. “I’ve gotten the nickname of a diva, which I don’t deserve. We [as women] not allowed to have certain views or be a certain way, or be passionate.”

She also shared with GQ that she was unfairly labeled that way years ago.

“Because I’m Latina, and I’m a woman, and I’m Puerto Rican, and they didn’t give me the same kind of pass that they gave everybody else at certain times,” Lopez explained. “It’s hard to remember the details. I wish I could. But honestly, I don’t like to talk about the negative or feel sorry for myself. You know, it’s, it just is what it is.”
