Career
Sbu Mpisane began his career joining the police academy in the mid-90s. After graduating, he became a police officer until retiring to join his wife’s business in the construction industry. As a police officer, he received a salary of $15,000.
He is one of South Africa’s leading businessmen, along with his business career, the industrious figure is the chairman of the South African football club Royal Eagles FC
The club is based in Maritzburg in South Africa and has played in the South African national first division, the highest level, since 2019.
Personal life
Sbu Mpisane is currently divorced and has two children although his first son, Andile Mpisane, claims that he has more children due to an affair.
He met his ex-wife Shawn ‘Mpisane’ Mkhize in 1991 and they were married for over 20 years until their separation in 2018. Shauwn ‘Mpisane’ Mkhize is the daughter of the late Florence Mkhize, one of the leading members of the African National Congress and anti-apartheid activist. She is from Kwazulu-Natal and met Sbu Mpisane at a party.
Before their divorce, they were considered South Africa’s power couple and had two children Andile Mpisane and Sbahle Mpisane. Their divorce proceedings were not smooth as his wife resigned as co-founder of the Royal Eagles football club, a lot of separation had to happen due to the separation.
It is miraculous that the family’s construction profession still stands strong to this day. His ex-wife said he loved himself and she loved him too and had lost herself and she was ready to find herself again. Andile Mpisane, his first son, made harsh comments about his father on Instagram after the divorce.
