CNN commentator Maria Cardona opened up about how Swift’s words could spell disaster for Trump and his bid to become POTUS again. According to the strategist, an endorsement could help President Joe Biden win the 2024 election again or make the Republican Party and Trump sweat.

“The more Donald Trump is focused and obsessed with someone like Taylor Swift, the better it is for the Democrats because I think we know that she is a liberal,” Cardona explained. “We know that she probably won’t vote for Donald Trump.”
The strategist continued, “It gives us an opportunity to talk about Donald Trump’s weirdness, and again, it doesn’t hurt his base, but we know that the base His will probably never leave him no matter what.”

Cardona’s comments came after the convicted felon former president spoke about Swift in an interview with Diversityby Ramin Setoodeh. In the reporter’s book The Apprentice in Wonderland: How Donald Trump and Mark Burnett put America through the looking glassSetoodeh claims Trump admitted that he found Swift “very beautiful.”
