The recent interaction between Taylor Swift and Prince William has caught the attention of royal watchers, sparking speculation that it could cause a stir for Meghan Markle.

The future king showed off his dance moves during Swift’s Eras Tour at Wembley Stadium. After the concert, Prince William took the opportunity to meet the iconic pop star backstage, along with his two eldest children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, for a memorable moment.

At the show, the royals clearly had a great time, taking selfies to commemorate the moment.
Now, public relations expert Ryan McCormick suggests that Swift’s relationship with Prince William may be making his sister-in-law feel insecure.
He told The Mirror, “Because [Swift’s] her considerable influence, her friendliness towards William may worry Meghan. If Swift publicly endorsed or supported the Duchess in any way, it would immediately attract a bunch of admiring Swifties to her side.”
In light of recent events, the 14-time Grammy Award-winning singer decided to decline Marke’s invitation to join her Archetypes podcast.
It was reported that Markle invited Swift to be a guest on the podcast last year, but the singer tactfully declined the opportunity through her representative.

According to a report by The Telegraph, Markle wrote a heartfelt letter to the “Style” singer, expressing her desire for Swift to guest on Archetypes. Unfortunately, Swift’s rep declined the invitation.
The public relations expert added, “I don’t think [Swift’s] decision will be detrimental to [Markle]. If some celebrities and powerful people start to publicly criticize or distance themselves from Markle, the consequences will certainly diminish her standing.”
In a notable effort, the Duchess of Sussex has overseen the creation of a 12-episode series titled Archetypes exclusively on Spotify. The podcast has featured notable appearances from others such as Serena Williams, Paris Hilton and Jameela Jamil.

Meanwhile, royal biographer Katie Nicholl said, “I’m not sure if Princess Charlotte is the biggest Swiftie fan in the family or if it’s actually Prince William. I know he loves her music.”
“They have a great relationship, they are good friends.”
In 2013, Prince William and Swift met for the first time at the Centrepoint Gala held at Kensington Palace in London. Their meeting involved teaming up with Jon Bon Jovi for a special performance.

The royal expert further revealed: “They are still good friends [after that night]. So good in fact that William was treated well by the royal family. [at the Eras Tour]”
“He got VIP tickets and he had a great time backstage with [Swift]where she took a selfie with her children and Prince William.”
“There’s clearly a lovely connection between these two. But William isn’t just a fan. [Swift]he is also a huge fan of her music.”
