Ariana Grande celebrated the premiere of her new movie, sinisterby sharing an emotional message with his fans.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, the singer said she “disappeared” as Glinda in the film and thanked fans for being “patient” with her.
“I feel extremely emotional today (who’s surprised?) and I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. Usually when we meet in person, you tell me that you grew up with me or about the impact that my work has had on your life but I feel like I don’t really get a chance to tell you enough about the impact that you’ve had on my life, ” she said.
Grande then went on to share how her fans have helped her and why she’s grateful for them.
“Today is the morning of Wicked’s release, and I want to tell you how grateful I am for the ways you’ve helped me over the years… you’ve held my hand and helped mend my heart.” my heart over and over again for the past ten years and I would never be here without you. Grande received widespread praise for her role as Glinda in sinister. The singer is reportedly a frontrunner to score a nomination at the 2025 Academy Awards for Best Supporting Actress. Grande is also rounded out in the top 5 by nominees Zoe Saldaña, Isabella Rossellini, Saoirse Ronan and Monica Barbaro in the ranking by Diversity.
However, the film could look very different as it has been reported that Lady Gaga and Shawn Mendes have been considered for roles in the project.
So far, the film has been successful, grossing $19.2 million from early previews, according to statistics. Diversity. The outlet reports that sinister is on track to earn between $100 million and $110 million in its opening weekend with some estimates at $130 million.
