Billy Ray Cyrus has amended his divorce filings to include new allegations against his estranged wife, Firerose.

According to documents obtained by Us Weekly on Monday, June 17, the country music star asserted new claims regarding efforts to isolate him from his family.

“Additionally, since Plaintiff filed his original complaint, he discovered that Defendant had waged a campaign to isolate Plaintiff from his family,” the updated documents reveal. “He discovered that the Defendant, unwittingly to the Plaintiff, had blocked at least one (1) of his daughters from being able to contact him on his phone(s) or electronic device(s). me.”
Billy Ray, 62, shares daughters Miley Cyrus and Noah Cyrus with ex-wife Tish Cyrus, and is the adoptive father of Brandi, Tish’s daughter from a previous relationship. He did not specify which daughter he was referring to in his divorce amendment. It could be both.
Billy Ray initially filed for an annulment from Firerose, 34, whom he married in October 2023, on May 23, alleging that the marriage was “obtained by fraud.”

He then sought a temporary restraining order against Firerose, claiming she made unauthorized purchases using his credit card, Us Weekly reported.
In response, Firerose, whose legal name is Johanna Rose Hodges, filed her own documents on June 14, accusing Billy Ray of “extreme psychological, emotional and verbal abuse.”
Billy Ray’s attorneys responded to these accusations, telling Us Weekly, “The allegations Ms. Hodges raises in her answer and counter-complaint are particularly confusing and questionable in its authenticity because she begged Mr. Cyrus to forgive her and take her back only.” 2 days after he filed for dissolution of his marriage.”
Included in their response was a handwritten letter allegedly from Firerose to Billy Ray after he filed for divorce.

The tense relationship between Billy Ray and his daughters, especially Miley, 31 years old, is also a point of public concern.
Since her divorce from Tish in 2022, Miley has shown support for her mother’s relationship with Dominic Purcell, 54, even serving as a bridesmaid at their wedding in 2023. However , she has been less vocal about her relationship with her father, notably ignoring him in her acceptance speech at the Grammy Awards in February.
Meanwhile, Noah, 24, did not attend Tish and Dominic’s wedding but wore a Billy Ray Cyrus T-shirt on the day of the wedding.
Later, reports emerged indicating that Noah had previously been involved with Dominic before he started dating her mother.
