Rihanna has revealed she wanted Taylor Russell to play her in the biopic because of her ‘beautiful forehead’

Rihanna has been an iconic musician for many years now and it’s fitting that she has a biopic that will tackle her life from her youth in Barbados to taking over the world with her music and makeup brand. More recently, the musician revealed which artist she would like to play her in a possible film.

The singer spoke to E! News of her Fenty Hair premiere red carpet interview earlier this week. She was asked by the press if there was any star she would like to portray in a movie.

Without hesitation, Rihanna immediately responded to Taylor Russell, who is known to many for his leading role in the film Escape room.

She further explained that the actress’ appearance greatly influenced her decision, adding: “You know why? Because she has a beautiful forehead.”

“She was like flying. And I felt like I wanted to be her, so I wanted her to pretend to be me. I wanted people to see me in that light,” the musician added.

The recent news comes after she spoke with Extra to clarify her “I’m Retired” T-shirt and said she won’t be leaving the entertainment industry anytime soon.

“Yeah, I’m starting over… But I don’t want to neglect the songs I have, so I really want to go back and listen to things with new ears, with my new perspective and then see what happens.” What applies and what I still love,” she said.

The “Where Have You Been” singer added that music is a “new discovery” for her and that she wants to rediscover things, noting that after working on her next album for so long, she “kind of pushed all of that aside.”

Today, Rihanna is ready to go back to the studio and start recording. However, she has not yet revealed the official launch date of her next project.

Her last album, Antiwas released in 2016. Since then, the musician took a hiatus from music until briefly returning in 2022 with the release of “Lift Me Up” for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
