“It’s like this substance has a direct connection to my ego“, Solidstar shared. “It makes me feel like a king, telling me not to worry about paying for things.”
But fast forward to August 2023, and the scene is no longer glamorous. Videos began appearing online, showing Solidstar looking worse for wear, wandering the streets aimlessly. His brother, Joseph Iniyezo, spilled the tea, blaming it all on his battle with drugs.

But wait, there’s a twist in this story. Solidstar revealed that he stepped aside during a recent heart-to-heart with Saturday Beats. He has refrained from stimulants, said goodbye to cigarettes and alcohol.
“I’m feeling on top right now guys,” he beamed. “No more lighting fires or breaking bottles for me. It’s all about keeping it real.”
And you know what? This journey taught him a few things. He learned the power of opening up, not locking down, those emotions. Additionally, he praised the support he received from friends, fans and family during his darkest days.
“If it weren’t for them, I’d be singing a different tune,” he confessed, grateful for the love that kept him going.
