Ty Dolla $ign Doesn’t care about Kanye West’s broken reputation, issues, controversies

Rapper Ty Dolla $ign addressed his relationship with famous rapper Kanye West amid their collaboration on Vulture 1.

In an interview with Billboard, Ty Dolla opened up about his friendship with West, who has endured many controversies over the years, including lawsuits targeting his behavior and character.

“Apart from me, Ye is the best artist of this generation, and I don’t care what people are saying,” Ty Dolla $ign confirmed. “I know my n**** He’s one of the best people I’ve ever met.”

According to the rapper, he was never worried that West’s statements and issues would affect the success of their joint collaborative album, Vulture 1.

“Just with my analysis of how things went for him, he went to the top,” he added. “And something could happen and he would say [something people find offensive] – then everyone [get] Be right back, you know. Because this shit is undeniable.”

As expected, the album still topped the Billboard 200 album chart in its first week of release. The album is just the first installment in a reported trilogy of albums from the two rappers.

On the other hand, Vulture 2 was supposed to be released in March 2024 but has been delayed indefinitely.

“We have all the songs,” Ty Dolla $ign revealed. “It was basically like, ‘How can we achieve that? How can we grow beyond the first album?’

According to the rapper, they are seriously considering releasing the song directly to consumers and avoiding releasing it on streaming services.

When it is released in February 2024, Vulture 1 encountered problems while streaming. Apple Music removed it from its music streaming platform at the time. Billboard reported that album distribution company FUGA is planning to remove the album from streaming.

“Late last year, FUGA had the opportunity to release Vultures 1,” a FUGA spokesperson told Billboard. “Exercising our judgment in the ordinary course of business, we declined to do so.”

However, the album was transferred to the platform’s automated process, violating their service agreement. Given this, the course of action is to remove the album from the platform; only for it to return to the platform a few days later.

As of this writing, the album is still live on the platform.
