Early life
American artist, Ashley Purdy was born in the United States on January 28, 1979, in Berger, Missouri.
He lost both his parents when he was young. As a result, his grandparents raised him as an only child.
Ashley Purdy went on to become one of the main players in the band Black Veil Brides.

Artist Ashley Purdy studied at the San Francisco Art Institute before transferring to Los Angeles’ Otis College of Art and Design. He earned a BFA in Communication Design with a concentration in marketing and advertising.
