Sabrina Carpenter criticizes Jack Antonoff haters who say he has a “monotonous production style”.

Carpenter spoke with Rolling Stone about Antonoff and his involvement in the singer’s upcoming album, Short and sweet.

“F**k them all,” Carpenter cursed before explaining his point of view. “I think he’s one of the most talented people I’ve ever met. When he’s in the room, he can literally touch every instrument in the room and make it magical. He also works very quickly, which I really appreciate because I work very quickly.”

According to the “Nonsense” hitmaker, she met Antonoff in New York City a few years ago.

“I peed my pants because I wanted to work with him all my life. Then, fortunately, we became friends; our personalities matched and it was only a matter of time. He heard some things about me.” were working on this album and we were just starting to create magic,” Carpenter recalls.

The Grammy Award-winning producer has worked with Lana Del Rey, Lorde and Taylor Swift. Many have criticized Antonoff for his “monotonous production style”, which some say has been evident in Swift’s most recent projects – Midnight And The poet group was tortured.

As for Antonoff, he returned Carpenter’s sentiments when talking about the rising pop star in the publication.

“[Sabrina Carpenter is] to be one of the biggest young pop stars, and that song is a statement of self-expression, not just lyrically but sonically,” Antonoff said. “I think the aesthetic is of not caring or the aesthetics of telling it like that has become so popular that there are a lot more people embracing that concept than that one. Sabrina really is like that,” he added of the pop star.

Notably, Antonoff co-wrote and co-produced Carpenter’s latest No. 2 Billboard hit, “Please Please Please.” On Carpenter’s upcoming album, Short and sweetThe “Espresso” singer revealed that Antonoff participated in making half of her new album.

Carpenter made waves in the music industry after releasing his last album, Email I can’t send. Singles from the album, “Nonsense” and “Feather”, cemented Carpenter’s popularity.

With his newfound fame, Carpenter became Swift’s opening act on The Eras Tour South America and The Eras Tour Australia and Asia.
