Ahmed Khan, owner of Kentish Delight, a London kebab shop she frequents, was invited to one of her shows in London. He politely declined the offer.

According to Ahmed Khan, who spoke to The Sun, Khan was busy at his food outlet attending Swift’s highly anticipated Eras Tour show in the capital.
Swift’s ex-boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, is said to have introduced her to the restaurant where she was impressed by the delicious food. She was so impressed that the singer’s team invited Ahmed to give him a free VIP ticket.
The owner of the London food business explained why he politely declined saying that he was understaffed and that was why he was busy.

Speaking about her interaction with the 14-time Grammy winner, Ahmed said: “She first came pre-pandemic with [Alwyn]. He knew we had the best kebabs so he wanted to show it off [Swift].”
“It doesn’t seem like she’s a big celebrity. She’s very down-to-earth and talks to people respectfully.”
Swift’s famous dish, fried chicken on pita bread with fresh salad and a tangy garlic sauce, has forever been considered the “Taylor Swift kebab.”
“Some fans came from Edinburgh just to buy her kebabs and came back straight away,” said the owner.

Kentish Delight even appeared in the music video for her song, “End Game”, promising Ahmed that a new video shoot was on the way.

In preparation for her upcoming series of eight sold-out shows in the city, the “Fortnight” singer has been extra careful to make sure she and her crew don’t go hungry. Swift’s team placed a large order, including 45 hearty pieces of grilled chicken.
A source told The Sun: “They will be collected overnight by someone from her team.”
“It’s a big order but the kebab house can handle it. [Swift] added garlic sauce to hers, as well as lots of salad.”
A recent survey conducted among Amazon’s workforce for the Chatterbox series revealed that Swift’s culinary preferences are quite impressive. Kebabs emerged as the top choice among the Euro 2024 teams, demonstrating a common love for this flavorful dish.
